The “Buenos Aires label records” program

Since 2004 the Under Secretariat of Cultural Industries of Buenos Aires Government carries out the “Buenos Aires label records” program. Its spirit is to support the promotion and development of Argentinean independent label record industry. The program contributes to protect and spread the cultural diversity that these label records promote. It´s main goals are: - To strengthen the space of meeting and reflection among label records in order to make an accurate diagnosis of the reality in which they are immersed. - To promote the development of the internal market of label records. - To stimulate and to promote the projection of label records abroad. - To answer to the permanent needs of the record sector regarding training aspects. To achieve this: we organize seminars, conferences and forums of discussion with and for the sector. - To promote and to install the City of Buenos Aires as a place for business development of record industry
